Hidden Decay: Composite Restorations
About This Project
A patient with no symptoms was found to have a large amount of decay in two teeth upon clinical and radiographic examination, necessitating a composite (white) fillings. To ensure all decay was thoroughly removed, a caries dye was applied to highlight any hidden areas of decay, allowing for more comprehensive cleaning before Dr Farnoosh Mimeh placed the fillings.
